My year's 3-day vacation with Tereza for southern sun had its start in Switzerland. And even though we beginning of the road spent about 2 hours in a column in front of the Gotthard tunnel because of construction of parallel railway tunnel, another endless columns on highways in Italy, traveled airgel we finally just before midnight at the destination.

Nosework could be loosely translated as about "Work nose." This is a brand new dog sport, which is based on the most natural ability of all dogs - smell. Man dogs now used to search for different specific odors that dogs in different environments and for various situations unmistakably reveals the odor of drugs, explosives or accelerants fire dog's nose is a device criminologists, when using the method of odor identification identify the smell of a man taken at the scene of the odor specimen taken from the suspect. Dog - Rescuer is an indispensable element in search operations for missing persons in the field, in the ruins of houses or under snow. Nosework builds on this experience and based on the fact that the K9 team - dog handler and his dog search for the specific odors civilian agents in similar situations as a professional K9 teams of police, army and rescuers. This sport is first recorded in 2009 in the U.S.A. on the west coast in California, there were held the first official races. They train and looking for three basic odors - essential oils of birch, anise and cloves. In this sport is not playing on beauty, body or seconds, get paid only what in reality, found - found.

With more than 825,000 inhabitants, it is the fourth most populous city of the State of California (after Los Angeles, San Diego and San Jose) and 14th most populous city in the entire United States. After New York is the second most densely populated city in the USA. The city is famous for its cool summers, fog, steep hills, diverse architecture and tourist destinations, among them the Golden Gate Bridge, funicular tram, the former prison island of Alcatraz and Chinatown. It is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

It was a difficult and long journey - several days and several flights: Praha - Frankfurt - Philadelphie - San Francisco - Lakeport.
Halfway across the globe, the time difference of eight hours, different climate and culture. Lufthansa and American Airlines, the two airlines with maximum service and the friendly staff when traveling with Lee on board. Finally, I was back home again. But the mix of photos from traveling to see.

This year's first show abroad has led us to Slovakia. In Bohemia ruled the cold and snow drifts, but Slovak was beginning spring - temperatures around 10 ° C, dry, sun - perfect weather to show for poodles. Both girls had a successful weekend and started their hunt for Slovak champion.
